Greg Myroth
is the founder and director of Rush
basketball. He has coached at the
high school varsity, AAU and middle
school levels and is also a skills
development trainer. As a varsity
girls coach at Peoria Christian, he
has taken over a program with one
winning record in school history and
in his two years as head coach led
them to back to back regional
championship games and a combined
record of 37-16 (17-9, 20-7).
During his five years of coaching
middle school girls, Coach Myroth
led Peoria Christian to state two
times and a record 82-24 over the
five year period.
As the coach
of Rush's U15 team, he has led the
team to the AAU state championship
in 2010 and third place in 2011.
Under coach Myroth's direction, the
team has won and placed in multiple
United States Junior National
Tournaments. Coach Myroth is a
strong believer in the development
of fundamental skills and regularly
attends coaching clinics and
seminars to continue his development
as a coach. He provides individual
and group skill development training
for girls at all levels. Coach
Myroth is currently in the process
of getting certification as a
Certified Strength and Conditioning
Specialist (CSCS). Greg's college
education includes a Masters in
Business Administration from Bradley
University, 1991 and a bachelor's
degree in Civil Engineering from the
University of Wisconsin-Platteville,
1986.
